Louisiana Facility Planning & Control is accepting bids for the Library Replacement at Grambling State University. Sealed bids will be received for the State of Louisiana by the Division of Administration, Office of Facility Planning and Control, Claiborne Office Building, 1201 North Third Street, Conference Room 1-145, Post Office Box 94095, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70804-9095 until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 26, 2019.
This 50,000 square foot, state of the art library facility has a Construction Budget of $14.5 million. The Work of this Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes site work and construction for the new Library Replacement at Grambling State University and consist of the following:
- Subsurface Site work & Demolition.
- Concrete slab, spread footings and foundations.
- Steel frame structure.
- Brick, FRC Panels and corrugated metal exterior walls.
- Rigid and batt insulation.
- Modified bitumen and standing seam metal roofing.
- Wood and metal doors in hollow metal frames.
- Curtain-wall systems.
- Interior finishes.
- New fire protection, plumbing and HVAC systems.
- New electrical lighting, power and data systems.
